1. What this is — and is not
BestTimeToFish (besttimetofish.com) sells free river fishability pages — live flow, fishing forecasts, and best-month guides — monetized by affiliate links to guided fishing trips. Everything we publish or sell is an informational product: a faithful reproduction and plain-English summary of public records. It is not a guarantee that you will catch fish, professional, scientific, or guiding advice, an endorsement of any guide, outfitter, or or lodge, and buying or reading it does not create a professional–client relationship of any kind. Fishability is a probabilistic read built from live streamflow, each river's published flow band, the season, and the moon — rivers and fish do not cooperate on schedule, and a slow day is always a real possibility we cannot insure against.
2. Where the data comes from
Every figure we publish is derived entirely from cited public records: the U.S. Geological Survey's National Water Information System (live instantaneous streamflow and gage height), Open-Meteo (cloud cover and sun times), and a deterministic moon/solunar model. Each page and report names its source, links the underlying official record where one exists, and stamps the vintage of the data it was generated from. If you need to verify anything we say, the citation trail is the way to do it — and we encourage it.
3. No warranty
Source records can be wrong, late, amended, or missing; we reproduce and interpret them faithfully, but we provide the service "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. The absence of a record is never proof that an event did not happen, and the presence of one is not proof of its effect on any particular property.
4. Limitation of liability
